As of yesterday, Elvish Pens, Fantastical Writings is 3 years old! I started out knowing nothing and writing shameful posts, but I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the beginning.

Also a little fun fact: It took me at least 3 tries to say the name of Kingdom of Ash and Briars correctly. I always think it's Kingdom of Briars and Ash. *headdesk*

And on a side note, it is 147% true that the grasshoppers here will chew your arm off and here are some other completely true facts about Australia:
- Vegemite is eaten with a spoon, or as the base for fairy bread
- non-Australians must smear Vegemite behind their ears to ward off drop-bear attacks
- it only rains 3-14 days per year, depending on location, but we get some ripper floods
- when it does flood, kids take to the swollen creeks with the boogie boards
