How is 2016 Almost Over? ||| Looking Back At My Resolutions

So a little over a year ago, on January 11, 2016, I wrote a post about all of my goals for this year.

I actually completed most of them?!

-Finish The Clockshifter - Check!
-Finish the first draft of To Be Awake - I put this novel on hold and started another one, which I hope to complete by the end of NaNoWriMo.
-Query agents and publishers - I pitched to publishers at Realm Makers, edited more, and submitted again!
-Attend Realm Makers - CHECK!

-Create a blogging schedule (and follow it). - I only missed a few posts, which I think is pretty good!
-Make my blog more interesting for readers - I hope I did this. :)
-Find the right writing style for my blog - I think I actually did!
-Make it as professional as possible - I'll let you all decide that.
-Have at least one person guest post - Check!  Claire Banschbach guest posted on why she writes fantasy.

-Read 100 books - Ha.  Ha.  Ha... *wistfully looks into the distance* This so did not happen.  BUT I did read some pretty amazing books, some of which I will review on here soon.
-Have at least one book signed - Check!  Realm Makers sure took care of that.

-Exercise more - Me?  Exercise?  That's hilarious.
-Read the Bible every day - Unfortunately, this did not happen.  I'm really trying to get into the habit of spending time with God every day.

-Visit Katie Grace again - REALM MAKERS!

  1. Go you!! And you've totally succeeded in having an interesting blog (your blog is one of my absolute favourites)! :)

    1. Aww, thank you so much, Liv! I'm so honored to be one of your favorites. :D You totally just made my day.

  2. hey you got a lot done this year :) Im proud of you!

  3. Congrats of getting most of what you planned done!

  4. Cool. You got a lot done. The fact that you succeeded with most of your blogging goals is inspiring me to make some similar goals of my own. If you can succeed, I can too, right?

    1. I definitely recommend blogging goals! They help me so much. It helps me focus, and reminds me that I really should write a post every Monday (other than the fact that I shouldn't leave my amazing readers hanging). :)

  5. Great post, girl! I need to write up some goals for 2017...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT'S SO CLOSE? Where did this year gooooo?! Let's make sure 2017 is another epic year! =)

  6. Good job with most of your goals! I only read 15 of the 50 books I set out for, but, hey, things happen. And I pretend to be too busy... :) Did well on exercising, though. MOSTLY kept to my blogging schedule, lol.
