Music is powerful. Without a doubt. I remember when I was little, my dad would have the television on watching something. I wouldn't know what it was about, but the music made me feel emotion. Some made me feel scared, some made me feel sad, some made me feel happy. But it made me feel something.
My writing reflects my emotion. If I am sad, I usually write something depressing. So, I use writing to inspire me to feel certain emotions when I write. Does that make any sense?
If you feel uninspired, you may want to try and listen to music. I have found a site called SoundFuel that has wonderful soundtracks for whatever you may be writing! And don't worry about bad lyrics, because they are instrumental. ;)
